Children- honour
your parents
Children, obey your parents in the Lord, for this is right. “Honour your father and mother”—which is the first commandment with a promise— “so that it may go well with you and that you may enjoy long life on the earth.”
Talking at a children's weekend away about what it means to honour your parents, and why God wants that for us. I shared about being estranged from my mum for over 10 years, and how God led me back to her. I didn't realise she had a terminal illness at the time, but I soon learned that God wanted us to enjoy the final 3 years we had together on this earth.
And we really did just that.
God is good!
Emotionless

Emotional mess
